R4E at Entrepreneurs Forum Bangalore
Hello All,
Its pretty late now to write about this event but as they say “Better late than never”
Last week Entrepreneurs Forum was held at IIIT Bangalore and the agenda of the event was to foster entrepreneurship in India. It became the part of nation-wide ‘Entrepreneurship Mentoring Event’ planned by PANIIT in 16 different cities on January 26 to mentor over 1000 entrepreneurs all over India.
In the second half of the day, 12 selected hot startups were to showcase their idea/business plan/startup in front of strong crowd of around 170 people. And I must say the quality of startup companies were better than any of the event I have seen so far. I guess even better than LeWeb3 in Paris. That is because all the startups were backed by students from IITs and IIMs, arguably the best minds in India. I guess we were the only startup not backed by any IITians or IIMians
and also ours was technically simple, fun loving, exciting concept.
The event was good content wise but I must say management was not up to mark as many lectures get delayed and also the showcases get delayed. My turn came up just before the live web cast from Honorable Dr. Abdul Kalaam. YES, the highlight of the event was live web cast of the ex-president from Hyderabad. He is an amazing visionary and speaker. He was the best part of the day.

Anyway, R4E presentation went really well and people were excited to hear about a concept like this. Most of the people found the name itself so interesting that they couldn’t resist asking more details about the concept.
One of the organizers liked the logo pretty much and said it is pretty much “International Standard”, is it? definitely because logo is designed by my friend Anjali who is a designer from NID, the best design school in India. You can checkout her website here.
Many people from the audience have even started creating rivalries also, for example the rivalry between IIM Kozhikode vs IIM Indore
Many many congratulations to Mr Naresh and his team for organizing wonderful event and looking forward to attend the event next year. Till then…
Keep Fighting,
Abhishek
